Yes and no. What we were almost struck by - what the fort we were in was struck by instead - wasn't fire, it was light. It came straight from the sky without any warning.

If they're willing to strike us that quickly, the same logic they used could easily turn on all of you for being much closer and able to talk to us when they can't.
